Homework

The amount of homework each student has varies depending on how effectively she or he has used class time allotted for work completion. Students are expected to do some at-home reading to facilitate timely completion of novel units and BookChats.

Resources

A calendar posted in the classroom indicates due dates and daily assignments. Students are encouraged to note these in Assignment Notebooks and to keep track of assignment grades on an tracking sheet kept in their portfolios.

For students in need of a quiet place to study with access to dictionaries, encyclopedias, and computers, Homework Club meets two times per week in the LRC.
