The focus of the Learning Resource Center Program is designed to assist learners in their ability to access, generate, evaluate, and apply information which will help them to function effectively, individually and cooperatively, in a global society. Through technology integration we are committed to continuous quality improvement. It is also the responsibility of the LRC to provide quality reading materials in a variety of formats to meet the needs of student's differentiated reading levels and interests.

Thomas Jefferson was an incredible Founding Father who authored the Declaration of Independence which was the first step in our country's road to freedom! Thanks to his efforts and the and that of our other Founding Fathers in 1776, each of you are free to assemble in the LRC to get books which were written using freedom of the press. You may also give your opinions about what you have read. These are rights given to you by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

Book Checkout Information
Books many be checked out for 2 weeks but if necessary may be renewed for one additional week. Overdue books will be fined 1 cent per school day. If you are sick on due date, we will adjust the fine. If you lose or destroy a book, you are expected to pay the replacement cost for it.

LRC Rules
Return books when they are due. If you need a book longer, please have it renewed. Please put unwanted books back where you got them, but if you forget where they were, put them on top of the book drop. Always use 6-inch voices in the LRC. That means if anyone can hear you when you are standing more then 6 inches away, you are talking too loud! Use the computer card catalog, LIBRARY SEARCH, to find where books are located. . You need permission to use the Internet in the LRC and please remember that you may not type in any URLs without an adult present.
