· Pretest given on Monday (If you earn 100%, you do not have to take the posttest on Friday).

Reading

Sixth grade students will develop their reading skills and strategies through our new reading series by Harcourt Brace. This series incorporates short stories and excerpts from renowned children's literature to deliver a wide variety of lessons. A new story will be introduced each week.  In the winter, we will read the novel The Watsons Go to Birmingham – 1963.

Mathematics
