Homework: Students are responsible for writing assignment due dates in their assignment notebooks and having all work completed on time. If students need extra assistance on an assignment, they may arrange to see me before school, during lunch, and/or after school.
Absences: It is the student's responsibility to make up any assignments missed due to an absence. Time to make up work due is guided by school policy outlined in the Student Handbook. If tests are missed, a make-up test day must be arranged as soon as possible.
Late Work: Late assignments will receive a maximum grade of D- if handed in the day after it is due. All  work must be completed.  Students who consistently have late and/or missing work and whose grades fall below 70% can expect to stay after school and/or see me during lunch to receive extra help and to work on those assignments.
Grading Scale: Points earned on classwork, projects, homework, tests, and class participation are included in the student's grade. Grades are assigned based on the following scale:

                                                                            90% - 100% A
                                                                            80% - 89% B
                                                                            70% - 79% C
                                                                            60% - 69% D
                                                                            0% - 59% U
