*Luetta visited from the Spring Valley Nature Sanctuary.

*Each classroom created their own worm bin and through various activities learned many new facts about worms, what they eat and how they help plants.

*On May 5 & 6, we went on a fieldtrip to the Spring Valley Nature Sanctuary.

*May 11-15, 2009, we planted flowers in the front and on the sides of the school building.

*May 2009, each classroom also explored the life cycle of butterflies & ladybugs.
