In April, Luetta Coonrod was our guest speaker to introduce the “Red Wiggler” to the children. Following Luetta's visit, each classroom created a worm bin. We also discussed what the worms can consume and how much/ what to feed them. Along with this, the children learned how the castings will be used to fertilize the plants in the classroom and garden.
