Winston Campus Physical Education We are dedicated to developing the full potential of each student through a comprehensive curriculum which includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills. We are committed to establishing a safe environment where students may learn the importance of striving for individual excellence, respect for self and others, as well as an understanding of and tolerance for individual differences.
Students must all complete a Physical Education Contract, that outlines our program’s expectations and are all required to complete a Fitness Test Data Tracking Sheet, which is a year long assignment that includes goal setting for our physical fitness tests as well as graphing results after each test. The sheet is specific for both boys and girls, please be sure to print out the correct version, since the standards are different for each gender. These will be included with their Fitness Gram print out at the end of the year.

Winston Campus Intramural Program The Winston Campus Intramural Program is open to all students. The program is run after school and includes such activities as Soccer on Mondays with Mrs. Gailey and Ms. Hesse. All interested students must sign up outside of their room (G110) on Monday. Wednesdays feature workouts in the weight room with Ms. Baldassano and Mrs. Frankel. Students not only have a chance to workout to stay in shape, but they are able to make up a “no dress” from PE class by attending. Periodic tournaments or open gym dates may be scheduled based on the weather and indoor space availability. In the past the flag football, 3 on 3 basketball, and softball tournaments have garnered a high interest level. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via email or telephone.
