Homework
Homework is given in most classes every time it meets. Language Art classes meet daily and often include journal writing and independent reading. Math homework is assigned on Mondays and then either Tues. & Thurs. or Wed. & Fri. Ask your child what days they have Math and count on an assignment being given. Students should also be studying continuously for science tests.

• Study with a buddy.
  
• Plan ahead. Study notes often and not just the night before a test.
  
• Find a comfortable study spot.
  
• Use mnemonic devices (memory aids).
  
• Use acronyms (words made from the first letters of other words).
