TEACHER FEATURES We are fortunate to have a special person helping in our class this year. Miss Samantha, our Palatine High School intern, comes in every afternoon to help the students. We are all very lucky to have her assistance.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT We the people in Room 100, in order to have the best and safest classroom will treat each other the way we want to be treated and with kindness. We will include everyone. We will keep our hands and feet to ourselves. We will make our own choices and accept the consequences that go with them. We will always say I'll try and NEVER say I can't. We will be great listeners.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Birthdays are very special in Room 100! When it's your child's birthday or half birthday (if it's in the summer), they can invite a special guest to read his or her favorite book to the class. The other students will write a special birthday wish for them and it will be made into a book.
LEARNING AT HOME Each week students will receive either a HOMEWORK HEROES packet of activities to complete or a HOMEWORK BAG, filled with activities and books. Each student also completes a nightly reading log. They can win special prizes, pizza coupons or tickets to Great America just for reading. Your assistance is always greatly appreciated.
